Five things that inspire me to play music

• ONE: The desire to play very difficult music very well and to feel truly proud of myself.

• TWO: Music makes people happy, I want to contribute some happiness to people’s lives in this way.

• THREE: The child prodigies out there who are insanely good, I know I will never be like them but their hard work and talent inspires me to practise.

• FOUR: It’s something that can never be perfected, so can always be improved which means there is always an incentive to practise.

• FIVE: So many composers wrote so many amazing pieces of music that deserve to be played and done justice to.
