Nobody is ending friendships over ‘political differences’. Only in the world of a Fox News, Republican, Alex Jones type is this happening because only in their world is someone thinking people of a certain race or sexuality shouldn’t exist merely a ‘political difference’. Like bitch, I’m totally fine if my friend has a different stance on taxation or drug laws. But he’s not my friend if he thinks I don’t have a fundamental right to exist with human dignity?

An acceptable “political difference” is “I would rather my tax money to go into education, while you would prefer it went into infrastructure.”

Not, “I think that if you’re poor, brown, from another country; or any combination of the above, you should fuck off and die.”
