The thing w/ Gina Haspel is that people are right. She is the most qualified person to take over as the head of the CIA. And this is absolutely because of her stance on and participation in CIA’s torture program. That is exactly the sort of experience the CIA is looking for and values in their employees, because the CIA literally exists to do nothing except commit war crimes on behalf of America. Trying to act as if hiring her is some enormously reprehensible act, esp in the face of the CIA’s continued existence, is ridiculous lmao.
