I was just talking with my mom about colleges and majors and stuff, and I mentioned that I wanted to be a school guidance councilor (or get a degree in counseling) and she just totally shot me down saying that there aren’t many jobs for councilors and honestly, with all the school shootings, there should be way more jobs for School guidance councilors. Because we really need more people to talk to unstable and hurt teens/kids and try to steer them away from making a rash and dangerous decision
