anti cringe culture ppl are basically like those anti bullying programs that never touch base with the fact that everyone who gets bullied is gay, trans, fat, a person of color, or mentally ill. its so fake and transparent. all you wanna do is defend TYPING LEIK DIS X3 and making your rainbow fursonas. not that im against that? but i just. think that we need to be more aware of the hundreds of “nonbinary cringe comps” and “fat acceptance cringe comps” ive only seen like two “bad original character cringe comps” because nobody fucking knows what that shit is irl! so maybe tap back into reality for a second and start defending people who are actually victims of cringe culture.

for real, though. when i was 13 or 14, a fucking child, mind you, i posted a vine about being nonbinary, and i left it there. a year and a half later, one of my friends messaged me and let me know that my vine was in a cringe compilation on youtube with nearly 200k views. i was a child and someone decided that it was okay to publicly mock me and tons of other kids for being trans and having something to say about it. and don’t even get me started on the the terrible and often incredibly violent comments left on the videos.

that shit needs to be stopped
