-I want to do something

-How about this video game?

-I can’t focus on reading the text or making decisions right now and I don’t remember where I left off

-How about this book?

-Can’t focus on that much print at once right now

-How about this comic?

-It’s too long to finish in one night, and if I can’t finish it, then I won’t get that good good Task Completion Dopamine Boost TM

-How about a movie?

-I can’t think of a movie I want to watch, don’t want to scroll through Netflix for an hour, and can’t commit to making a decision for something that lasts that long

-How about doing chores that can easily be finished in a short time frame and require no reading or concentration?

-No.

-How about aimlessly scrolling through tumblr wishing you weren’t wasting your night?

-Yeah cool sounds good
