claiming you did all you could because you voted and nothing changed and then blaming the results on nonvoters instead of the oppressive state is pretty fucked up but whatever.

If at least half of the effort spent on these massive “Get out and vote kids!!” campaigns was put into, like, community initiatives or organizing of any kind we’d be significantly better.
